Sunset View Resort is currently offering cabins to rent on Lake Winnibigoshish as well as the limited opportunity to own a cabin in this 20 acre gated community on Lake Winnibigoshish with over 750 feet of sandy beach and shoreline and a western exposure accross Lake Winnibigoshish that offers some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see.

Lake Winnibigoshish is revered as one of Minnesota's top fishing lakes. Big Winnie, as it is fondly known by fishermen across the Country, is home of the Minnesota state muskie record. Big Winnie also has excellent walleye fishing, northern pike and bass fishing. Sunset View Resort is located on Haubrich's Bay near the entrance to Cut Foot Sioux Lake, the outlet from one of Minnesota's largest natural walleye spawning areas. Haubrich's Bay on Lake Winnibigoshish is known for the best spring and fall fishing on the lake. Great fishing is all around us.

Lake Winnibigoshish is in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest - the largest concentration of nesting bald eagles in the lower 48 states. 98% of the shoreline on Lake Winnibigoshish is undeveloped wilderness, providing endless hours of exploring, sport boating, and fishing pleasure.

The sandy bay at Sunset View Resort sports the finest recreational beach for beachcombing and campfires with no weeds or drop-offs for swimming. The spectacular sunsets are comparable to anywhere in the world.

There are many things to do and see in the area, with golf, shopping, good restaurants and casinos near by, just to name a few.

For the winter enthusiasts, Sunset View Resort is close to snowmobile and cross country ski trails. Sunset View Resort is a great area to hunt and fish.

Services include gas, ice, wood bundles and laundry. We also have paddle boats, kayakes and BBQ grills for all our guests to enjoy at no charge. All units have picnic tables, lawn chairs and fire pits on the beach. The children can enjoy the swing set, sand box and beach combing.
